Ninja Warriors for Wounded Warriors Multi-Stage Competition

This will be a limited capacity, multi-stage event with cash prizes and half the proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior Project. NOTE: This is not a competition for beginners!
Some details are still being worked out. But here are the highlights:
Saturday, January 16 (Multi-angle live stream on Facebook and Youtube)
two course stage 1 (speed and technical)... top 50% of men and women by combined score from both courses move on to
stage 2 (longer, more technical course), top 12 overall and top 3 women (if not in top 12) move on to
stage 3 (very challenging upper body and grip course)
Both Stage 1 courses will use
NCL Rules with points gained as you progress on the obstacles.
Stage 2 will have a point system and will allow 1 fail - second fail ends your run.
Stage 3 will be one fail and you're done... farthest, fastest

We will be limited to 96 athletes (32 per group see below). Each athlete can have 1 spectator for free. Additional Spectator tickets will go on sale on January 1, pending Covid-related restrictions.
NOTE ON SOCIAL DISTANCING: Our 8000+ square feet facility is inside the 130,000 square foot Fuquay Sports Center. We will have AT LEAST 15,000 square feet of spectator and warm-up area adjacent to our gym available for plenty of social distancing! Merchandise of top ninjas and sponsor will be sold here. Food truck will be available on site. Access to other sport facilities are being arranged.
1st place for the individual competition will be AT LEAST $1000 and a CAR (details to come), but we are hoping to build the prize purse. We do not expect cash prizes for the team competition.
Known Sponsors are Ninja Master, The Ninja Passport, 919 Spine (giving free adjustments and other treatments), Stronghold, and Bucket of Chalk. Others are still being sought to add to prize money and donations to The Wounded Warrior Project.

Participants must be 14 or older as of January 1, 2021. The only exceptions to the age limit will be with special permission based on recommendations from top ninjas. Contact caleb.auer@rocksolidwarrior.com if you fall into that category.

Spectator Tickets are available in very limited quantities:
NOTE: Stage 1 Spectators are limited to 1 guest per Participant due to limited space and all of the activity on the two courses and filming in the gym. No one but participants and their individual guest will be allowed in the gym during the Participant's run. All other spectators and participants not running will be limited to the live feed outside the gym in the Fuquay Sports Center or online.
$15 - Stage 2 - 2:00 - 6:00 Come meet the ninjas and watch the top 50% who made it past Stage 1 (Note: Due to a scheduling conflict, Daniel Gil will not be here during this time)
$20 - Stage 3 - 6:30 - 9:00? Come meet the ninjas including Daniel Gil, see the final stage and see if anyone can beat the Kingdom Ninja!
$30 - Stage 2 & 3 - 2:00 - 9:00? If you want to see both Stage 2 & 3 live and meet as many ninjas as possible!
$15 - Sunday Team Competition - 2:00 - 6:00 Not every Ninja who competed on Saturday will be here on Sunday for this fun and high-skilled team competition, but you'll see some incredible action and get to meet many of your favorite Ninjas
NOTE: If Event has to be cancelled due to government orders, Participants and Spectators will be refunded or rescheduled (at participant's choice).
Coming in From Out of Town?
For those flying in Raleigh-Durham is the closest airport... Fayetteville is a bit farther but not too much.
Housing is available by host families for those that would like that form of hospitality.

There will be open gym times available on Friday at Rock Solid (5:30-7PM) and
WarriorTechOCR in Morrisville from 7PM-9PM). Rock Solid will definitely be closed at 7:00 PM on Friday to set up for the competition.
